Multicomponent

The Simerics MultiComponent Module can model the diffusion and transport for mixtures composed of multiple components (e.g. Nitrogen, Oxygen, and Carbon Dioxide).

Realistic Fluid Properties: The effective properties of the mixture can be modeled with precision using the individual gas or liquid properties for  each components and then computing the mixture properties (density, conductivity, viscosity, etc.) based on the relative contribution of each.

Note: The ability to accurately compute the fluid properties of the mixture as a function of the concentration of the individual components is an advantage of the MultiComponent Module over the simpler Species Module .
