  • Lead Application Engineer

    Simerics Inc. (www.Simerics.com) develops advanced CAE software products for virtual simulation and testing of mechanical systems catering to automotive, aerospace, marine, fluid power, and oil and gas industries. Simerics offer two state-of-the art CAE tools: Simerics MP is for Multi-purpose applications and PumpLinx is uniquely suited for the design of pumps, valves, compressors, motors and other fluid systems with rotating or sliding components.

    As part of our continued growth, we are seeking highly motivated engineers to join our India office. We have multiple openings at various levels with relevant work experience.

    The position is expected to work on challenging problems involving multiphase flow, cavitation, conjugate heat transfer, sliding/rotating grids for wide variety of products. As part of a dynamic high-tech company, you will participate in various tasks alongside developers and application engineers from US and Germany office.

    Responsibilities and requierements :

      • Setup and run CFD simulations to demonstrate software capabilities
      • Propose best solution methodologies and practices to our software users meeting their objectives
      • Create templates for new applications, coupling with other codes
      • Conduct training and mentoring to new customers
      • Present our technology in seminars and conferences

      • MTech/PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace/Chemical engineering or science
      • Strong background in fluid mechanics with 2-10 years of relevant work experience
      • Experience in software tools: CAD package (e.g Solidworks), CFD (e.g PumpLinx), optimization tool
      • Knowledge of pumps, valves and fluid systems
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
      • Excellent problem solving & organisational skills
  • FEA Software Lead Developer-Ongoing

    Simerics is currently seeking an experienced FEA developer to lead development of in-house commercial grade FEA software package for solid structure simulation at Seattle office.       • Market directly to new and existing corporate accounts and close sales, this will include cold calling
      • Markets: automotive, aerospace, hydraulics, oil & gas, and water/wastewater
      • Implement strategies to enhance and support the Simerics product line.
      • Make product presentations to distributors and end-users.
      • Assist management with development of sales plans and forecasts.
      • Assist the development of effective sales tools such as presentations, sales scripts, website content, etc
      • Light travel will be required to support trade shows and events
      • Quota attainment goals will be assigned
